Benny Mails claps back at consumerism with “Sticky”

From break dancer to ballet dancer to emcee, South London’s Benny Mails is a man of many talents – and clearly a man of impeccable rhythm. His latest offering ‘Sticky’ falls right within his genre-bending style that he evidenced earlier this year with his track ‘I Blocked My Dealer’. With a cadence reminiscent of early Chip and Ice-Kid but a flow all of his own, Mails raps effortlessly over a bright synth-line and punching drums. According to Benny the track itself is “about being young and as happy as can be until you grow up and start being drowned in materialism” so let us sit back and watch the growth of Mr. Mails.
