Ahead of the rumored ‘Saturation II’ album release, Brockhampton have been dropping music videos for debuting new tracks left and right. ‘Gummy’ was released last week and now they follow it up with another wild track, ‘Swamp’.
Brockhampton are an interesting story in their own right, the creative collective consists of 15 rappers, producers and engineers. Started in Texas now based in California, Brockhampton turned heads with their ‘Saturation’ album with features a lot of experimental beats along with witty world play and catchy hooks. ‘Swamp’ is no different with high-pitched beat going over lyrics that express their coming of age sage in the music game. Video director and founder of Brockhampton, Kevin Abstract said the video was inspired by 90s Nickelodeon and Spike Jonze. Evident in the vintage styling of the video along with its large bursts of colour throughout.
